Aliens Have Arrived on the Lower East Side

A new gaming experience called Alien Gang has just arrived on the Lower East Side. Alien Gang is a membership-based E-sports Colosseum, gaming center, PC bang (a PC bang is a type of LAN gaming center in South Korea where patrons can play multiplayer computer games for an hourly fee) and Internet cafe, located on the western fringe of the Lower East Side.

As e-sport games, such as ‘Overwatch’ and ‘League of Legends’, were streaming for the first time on ESPN, computer games were quickly becoming a sport that everyone could easily have access to playing. It might be hard to play traditional sports in places like New York City, but thanks to the Internet people can now easily connect, bond and socialize through computer games.

“People come from all over the country to watch Overwatch tournaments and play in the same room and friends even stay overnight just to play together. It’s a very unique experience that was lacking in New York City and it’s a void Alien Gang is proud to be able to fill,” said co-founder and creative director Vincent Cui.
